Plant Overview
This deciduous vine has slender woody stems with tendrils and requires support to form a dense scrambling habit. It has a dark green divided leaves and the white-pink wheel-shaped fragrant flowers appear in a large cluster during late spring to summer.

Cultural Uses Propagation
Clematis is grown for its attractive flowers and its climbing habit. It is trained over wire fences and against walls or over arbores, archers and pergolas. It may also climb over shrubs preferring shaded roots with sun seeking foliage.
Sow fresh seed during spring, in containers. Take semi hardwood cuttings of non-flowering shoots during summer and place in a well-drained media and keep moist.
